Global Youth Program

Explore Business with a World Leader in Business Education!

The use of data analysis to make better decisions is transforming business.

Future leaders need deeper analytical skills. We’re here to help! Wharton Global Youth Program has just published three Explore Business mini-sites to help high school educators and students discover cutting-edge concepts and leading insights about data and analytics.

Each free mini-site, complete with videos, defined vocabulary and activities, is built around conversations that Erika James, Dean of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, has with academic experts and industry professionals as they explore analytics in different business contexts.

Mini-site themes are:

The Analytics of Finance. More than ever, analytics is influencing critical decision-making in the field of finance through machine learning, big data, and algorithms. Learn how the financial landscape will evolve with these trends.

Using Data to Protect and Serve. When faced with challenging societal issues, such as police reform, human trafficking, and media transparency, analytics can offer surprising ways to increase accountability and drive social good.

More than a Game. Sports analytics has taken the spotlight as a driver of competitive advantage for professional teams, elevating the value of data both on and off the field, as well as in the exploding online sports-betting industry.

Tackle all three topics, or pick and choose which themes and video segments work best to enrich learning in your classroom or club conversations.

Explore Business with Wharton, a world leader in business education!

Sincerely,
