The High School Instructor at Engineering Science Quest (ESQ) is responsible for working with their team to create a fun, educational and safe environment for their campers. This person will deliver activities created by the University Instructors, engage with, and supervise campers, and any other responsibilities to ensure the camp runs smoothly.

The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing
Programming Challenge for Girls (PC4G) is a workshop designed to introduce programming to Grade 10 girls who have never programmed before. By the end of the day, students will have learned the basics of object-oriented programming through a hands-on tutorial and challenge.
We will use the programming environment Alice and girls will be in teams of two for both the tutorial and challenge.
Any student from grade 9 to 12 interested in writing an AP exam next May 2019, can come to an information meeting on Tuesday Nov 13 in Room 211. If you cannot attend and still want information, come see Mr Pearce at lunch in workroom 214.
Presented by Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) and the Government of Ontario, the Young Entrepreneurs, Make Your Pitch competition invites high school students in Ontario to pitch their business ideas in a two-minute video. Videos are judged through online public voting (40%) and expert judges’ scores (60%).
Twenty finalists are chosen and are awarded a trip to Toronto to pitch their ideas live at OCE’s Discovery conference and showcase, May 13 & 14, 2019, in front of a panel of judges from the entrepreneur community.
The Problem of the Week is designed to provide students with an ongoing opportunity to solve mathematical problems. Each week, problems from various areas of mathematics will be posted on their website.
