Forum for Young Canadians: Register now for Summit 360

On February 8-10, 2023, Forum for Young Canadians will bring 15- to 18-year-olds together virtually from communities across the country to mark Forum’s 45-year legacy, set the stage for Forum’s return, and serve as Forum’s first online version. Summit 360 will be an interactive experience for students to meet, engage with, network with, and learn from leaders, decision-makers, and other young Canadians about how our country works and the role they can play in its future. Through a variety of plenaries, interactive workshops, virtual tours, peer-to-peer activities, and a youth civics fair, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the various levels of government, Indigenous and northern governance models, citizenship, and decision-making processes in Canada.
  • Create meaningful relationships with other youth from across Canada that share similar interests and a passion to make a difference.
  • Build an understanding and commitment towards Canada’s parliamentary democracy with an awareness and acumen for why democracy matters.
  • Increase their civic onboarding and opportunities for civic engagement by exploring and supporting personal and collective contributions to their communities and country.
  • Youth participants will also have a chance to network with Parliamentarians.

Students 15 to 18 years old and Educators can register and learn more at www.forum.ca. To discuss your interest in reconnecting with Forum for Young Canadians, please respond at forum@forum.ca. We hope you will join us in advancing a new chapter of youth civic learning and engagement in Canada.
