**Saturday, December 10th, Iroquois Ridge will once again be hosting Hack The Ridge, our annual hackathon. Students will be given 12 hours to work either alone or in small teams to produce a program or product revolving around a theme we will announce on the day of the competition. Food and drink will be provided, and prizes are available for our top contestants.**
Both new and experienced hackers are welcome, and workshops will be run throughout the day to teach both basic and advanced technological skills, including basic code for individuals who have no prior experience. As a result, anyone who is interested is encouraged to join, especially if it may result in the event being used as a foothold to learn code.Sign-up at hacktheridge.ca. The event will be hosted at the Ridge from 9AM to 9PM, and students will be directed to the appropriate rooms/the cafeteria when you arrive at the front doors.
