Math Enrichment

Are you a student in grade 10 to 12, who is interested in Mathematics and are looking to challenge yourself? Then this is the program for you! Please have a look at our poster!

Participants will work together with professors and members of the department on interesting problems from a wide range of fields within mathematics. The sessions will be very informal and the emphasis is on developing problem solving skills while having fun exploring interesting puzzles and problems.

Weekly sessions run on Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:30pm in Room DH3055.

The UTM Math Circles meet for 10 weeks each spring (late January to early April) and 10 weeks each fall, (late September to early December). Have a look at each tab for the exact dates.

If you have attended the UTM Math Circle in the past, you can attend again. There will be new topics, new problems and new people (both faculty and students) for you to meet!

If you are new to the UTM Math Circles, you should fill out a  registration form and email the signed form to Marina Tvaladze at marina.tvalavadze@utoronto.ca.

Registration is limited to 20 students, so register early! There will be a wait list if needed.

Students are also required to obtain a recommendation for participation from either their high school math teacher or guidance counselor. You will find a section for this on the  registration form.
