U of T Engineering Outreach Summer 2021 Program

 

Global Engineering Challenge  |  Grades 9 - 12  |  $350

The Global Engineering Challenge mimics capstone-style undergraduate courses and is designed for those who have an interest in problem-solving. Guided by upper-year/recently-graduated engineering students, participants develop effective solutions to resolve global challenges. 

 

Three new challenges are offered this summer!

  • Linear Programming: The Optimal Schedule
  • User Experience DesignImproving the Patient Experience within Hospitals and Clinics
  • Data Analysis: Predicting and Visualizing Wildfires

 

STEM Enrichment Courses  |  Grades 9 - 12  |  $250

The STEM Enrichment Courses aim to challenge those students who want to dive deeper into various areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. All courses, led by upper-year/recently-graduated engineering students, are designed to showcase the range of projects engineers work on to build a better society. 

 

Three brand-new courses are offered this summer! 

  • Safety First! Computer-Aided Design for Fail-Safe Systems
  • Bionics: A Step into the Future
  • Lights, Camera, Action!

Registration for these programs will open at 8 AM ET on June 3rd, 2021

 

In the coming weeks, we will be launching further Summer 2021 offerings for students in Grades 3 to 12.
