Post-Secondary Prep Program for Grades 11-12 Students (NEXUS Program)
This program is offered by the McMaster-supported organization Mathstronauts (https://mathstronauts.ca/).
Preparing for post-secondary requires a focus on both technical skills, but also transferable soft skills.
Participants of the NEXUS Program (https://mathstronauts.ca/ programs/nexus-program/) will:
=develop in-demand coding skills in the Python programming language
=be introduced to AI technologies and apply machine learning principles in a central project
=learn tools and strategies to develop time management, studying and note taking skills
=receive mentorship and guidance from a current Masters of Engineering instructor
=learn what it feels like to be a post-secondary student.
