Every year, Women in Engineering provides an opportunity for grade 11 female students to participate in different workshops, meet engineering students, compete in a design competition and learn more about student life at Waterloo.
From April 29th to May 1st participants will get to experience:- Interesting webinars delivered by university of waterloo engineering professors and staff. Through these webinars, you will discover the variety of engineering careers, some amazing things engineers do and learn about what your life as an engineer could be like.
- Student panel discussion where you can chat with current female engineering students and our St. Paul’s Residence Life Coordinator. This is your chance to ask them any questions you might have about engineering, student life, campus life and more.
- Participate in an online design challenge/hackathon
- Learn the basics of UX design, wire-framing an app, tips on creating a website and more!
Applications will open on Wednesday, February 24 |
