The Catalyst Summer Program (Grade 10-12): is a 2-week program that offers a unique, interdisciplinary approach to the “traditional leadership program." Drawing from the University of Waterloo’s strengths in engineering, science, and innovation, high school students develop leadership skills within a community and problem-based context - with real opportunities to put new skills to practice! Leader In Training Program: The Engineering Science Quest Leader In Training (LIT) Program is a program designed to engage high school students applicants who have finished grade 9 or higher and are interested in becoming staff with Engineering Science Quest. The program builds leadership skills through group problem solving, hands-on program development and delivery, first-hand experience working with children and the opportunity to complete volunteer service hours. Grade 11 Girls Conference: The conference is an exciting opportunity for grade 11 girls to participate in hands-on workshops, explore the University of Waterloo, meet engineering students, compete in a design competition, and experience life in residence!
