Youth Ambassadors Program with Canada 2020 applications NOW OPEN

The Youth Ambassadors Program with Canada is now open for applications for the 2020 summer program. Please see the attached documents (English and French versions) for more details and eligibility requirements for the program. Please feel free to forward to any eligible and interested students and adult mentors. 

This year the program will begin on July 13. Students will travel to Ottawa, Ontario; Brattleboro, Vermont; Kansas City, Missouri; and Washington, D.C. The program concludes on August 2.

Applications can be completed here and are due on MARCH 20, 2020.

The Burlington Youth Student Council is hosting a special event with Mayor Marianne Meed Ward and other inspiring female elected officials who will share their personal experiences, their journey, inspiration and how they navigate the political environment as women.
All ages welcome. No cost to attend.

March Break Math Academy

University of Toronto, Downtown Campus High School Grades 9 - 12 
Math Academy is an intensive course of “real math” for high school students. This program provides students with experience in Mathematics and Mathematics Research. The topics will be creative, fun, and somewhat abstract; in other words, what mathematicians consider "real math". Students compete for a spot by submitting their solutions to a problem set by Saturday, February 15.
